Feeling physically, mentally or emotionally exhausted is a sign that self-care is needed. You need to be aware of the signs that your body and mind send you. Then you know when and how to take care of yourself. Just like listening to a growling tummy is a sign that you need water or food, your body and mind sends signs that you need self-care.
Physically, your muscles may be tight, or you may feel exhausted. Mentally, you may be finding it hard to concentrate or make decisions. Emotionally, you may be irritable and unable to find anything good in the day.
When you feel depleted like this, an oil that often comes up through muscle testing in Aromatic Kinesiology is Ginger essential oil. Ginger helps us move from depleted to sustained. By putting a couple of drops of ginger on a cotton pad and inhaling every so often, ginger begins to restore and balance your energies. It’s like ginger turns a dial within you, so that you become open to being sustained in every moment.

One way to preserve and conserve your energy is to take a time out to laugh. Laughter raises the spirits. Find something funny, whether it’s having a good belly laugh with a friend, watching a comedy or watching comedians or animal videos on YouTube, laugh the stress and depletion out of your body.
