Have you ever felt restless?
I just Googled the definition of restless because I wasn’t entirely sure what it meant. I know I feel restless sometimes, but what does it actually mean?
Restlessness is the inability to rest or relax as a result of anxiety or boredom.
When you feel restless, it often means that you are in need change. It doesn’t necessarily mean a big dramatic changed. It just means that you need to shake things up a little.
Change begins from the inside out. You need to work on your mindset before you start seeing results externally.
Do you know what you’re moving towards when you want to stop feeling restless?
In Aromatic Kinesiology, Elemi is the essential oil that helps us move away from restless to tranquil. Elemi guides us towards our inner world, so we can look deeply inside us and understand ourselves.
Within us is a gentle and deep stillness that is tranquil. It’s already within us. We don’t need to search for it. When we feel restless, we need to find a way to remember and connect with that stillness.
As restlessness takes a hold, take a time out. Go for a walk in nature, read an uplifting book, listen to some wonderful music, meditate, practice yoga, whatever it is that helps you to connect with the stillness within.
When you connect with that inner stillness, you’ll connect with your intuition as well the light and love of your heart. From here you’ll find the peacefulness to overcome restlessness and feel tranquil.
