“Deep cleaning is not just for spring.” – Shakti Parwha Kaur Khalsa
Deep cleaning requires slow and methodical work, moving steadily from one room to another. When we slow our body and mind down, we give ourselves a chance to “deep clean” our body and mind. Slowing down, sometimes through relaxation, is not always blissful. When we slow down, old fears, anger and negative emotions can be brought up to the surface. This is ok. It gives us a chance to clean them away or release them. There are so many techniques available to us in the 21st century that can be used to deep clean our body and mind. Personally I use a daily Kundalini Yoga practice, journaling and regular self-Reiki to slow down and raise my vibration. What happens when we allow this deep clean to happen? With every deep clean, sometimes it looks worse before it looks better. Then we begin to feel like we have more energy. We feel more compassion for ourselves and what we’ve been through. Past triggers no longer affect us. We raise our vibration and vibrate the Cosmos. As we vibrate the Cosmos, the Cosmos clears the path to greater joy, peace and love. Deep cleaning or slowing down requires patience, compassion, good boundaries and discernment. Like any deep cleaning, it is always worth it.
